Duties Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with enthusiasm and professionalism Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Process sales transactions efficiently while upselling menu items like wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change Maintain cleanliness of tables, stations, and service areas; bus tables as needed to ensure a tidy environment Assist with food preparation or kitchen support during busy periods when necessary Demonstrate extensive knowledge of menu items, including wine knowledge and spirits experience, to answer guest questions confidently Uphold sanitation standards through proper food handling and sanitation practices in compliance with health regulations Foster positive guest relations by providing attentive service, addressing concerns promptly, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and the ability to build rapport quickly Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Ability to upsell menu items including cocktails, wines, spirits, and specialty dishes to maximize sales opportunities Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper sanitation procedures in a restaurant setting Culinary experience or food industry background is a plus for understanding menu components and preparation standards Experience with beverage service including drink mixing, spirits knowledge, and cocktail preparation is highly desirable Strong communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff and team members seamlessly Flexibility to work nights, weekends, or holidays as required in a lively hospitality environment Join us if you're passionate about delivering outstanding guest experiences through energetic service!
