Temporary to Hire position with potential for permanent employment Job Description Remedy Staffing is currently seeking a friendly, energetic, and customer focused Restaurant Server for a local bar an restaurant. This position is responsible for providing exceptional dining experiences by taking customer orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guests receive prompt and courteous service. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Duties & Responsibilities Greet and seat guests in a courteous and professional manner. Present menus and answer questions regarding menu items, specials, and promotions. Serve beverages promptly while ensuring order accuracy. Monitor guest satisfaction and respond to requests in a timely manner. Process guest payments and provide accurate change or receipts. Verify customer age and identification when serving alcoholic beverages. Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, ingredients, and preparation methods. Work collaboratively with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other team members. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED preferred. Previous restaurant, hospitality, customer service, or serving experience preferred. Must possess a valid Louisiana Responsible Vendor/Bartender License. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Dependable attendance and punctuality. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience serving food and beverages. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards. Experience in a high volume restaurant environment.
