Overview KPOT Korean BBQ and Hot Pot are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner to join our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. As a Food Runner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that food and beverages are delivered promptly and accurately to our guests. This position requires a strong commitment to customer service, teamwork, and attention to detail within a fast-paced restaurant environment. Responsibilities Efficiently deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met. Assist servers by providing timely support during busy service periods, including refilling drinks and clearing tables. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting them for new guests. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication regarding orders and special requests. Adhere to food safety guidelines and standards during food handling and delivery processes. Engage with guests in a friendly manner, addressing any inquiries or concerns they may have regarding their meals. Skills Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred. Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous. Experience in banquet service or catering is a plus. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members. A background in culinary arts or kitchen experience can enhance your candidacy. Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service in a hospitality-focused environment. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
