Duties Greet guests warmly, present menus, and assist with food and beverage selections to enhance their dining experience Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely processing of sales transactions Serve food and drinks efficiently, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages, maintaining high standards of presentation and safety Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales while providing personalized recommendations based on guest preferences Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments, and give correct change while maintaining cash handling security protocols Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and adhering to food safety regulations Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy hours and assist with food preparation or plating when needed Qualifications Previous food service experience in restaurants, fine dining establishments, or nightclubs is highly preferred Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus Strong customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle diverse customer needs effectively Knowledge of beverage service including spirits, wine, cocktails, and drink presentation techniques Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities Culinary experience or food industry background is advantageous but not required; a passion for hospitality is essential Ability to follow sanitation standards, food safety protocols, and proper food handling procedures Embark on a rewarding career where your energy fuels memorable dining experiences!
