Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a friendly and efficient Food Runner Busser to join our dynamic restaurant team. This role is essential in ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests by supporting the service staff and maintaining a clean, organized dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of food safety and service standards. This position offers an opportunity to gain valuable experience in food service and hospitality operations within a lively restaurant setting. Duties Assist staff by delivering food from the kitchen to guest tables promptly and accurately Clear and reset tables efficiently to prepare for new guests Support food preparation and plating as needed, following safety and quality standards Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including bussing tables and sanitizing surfaces Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing when required Ensure proper handling and presentation of food items in accordance with food safety guidelines Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders Provide exceptional guest service by responding promptly to guest needs and inquiries Assist with banquet or special event setups as needed Uphold high standards of hospitality, guest services, and communication throughout all interactions Experience Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred Familiarity with food handling, serving, bussing, and basic food preparation techniques Experience operating POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper sanitation practices Experience working in banquet settings, hotel restaurants, or culinary environments is advantageous Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor are essential for providing excellent guest services Prior kitchen or culinary experience can be beneficial but is not required Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and customer satisfaction
