As a key part of our restaurant, you will be responsible for ensuring guests feel welcomed, attended to, and satisfied from the moment they arrive until their departure. We value team players with a positive attitude and a commitment to great guest service in our busy downtown pizza restaurant. Working some Sundays is a requirement. Please do not apply if you cannot work Sunday! Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage seating arrangements efficiently using POS system. Take accurate food and beverage orders. Provide knowledgeable recommendations, upselling menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Suggestive sell draft beer, cocktails, and wine. Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols. Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to ensure a pristine environment for your guests. Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering systems, including cash handling and basic math calculations. Support guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction. Skills Ability to use POS system and handheld device. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy shifts. Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining a friendly demeanor. Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest relations, hospitality, and creating memorable experiences.
