Duties Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with a friendly, energetic demeanor Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and sales Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness Handle cash transactions accurately, process sales using POS systems, and manage billing with precision Provide expert knowledge on wine pairings, spirits, and menu ingredients to enrich the dining experience Maintain sanitation standards by adhering to food safety protocols, proper food handling, and sanitation practices Assist with bussing tables, resetting for new guests, and supporting kitchen staff when needed Foster positive guest relations through attentive service, prompt problem resolution, and personalized interactions Support overall restaurant operations by collaborating with team members to ensure smooth service flow Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred; fine dining experience is a plus Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and food industry standards enhances your effectiveness in this role Demonstrated ability in customer service with excellent communication skills Experience with food handling, sanitation procedures, and food safety regulations is essential Ability to manage time efficiently during busy service periods while maintaining a positive attitude Prior host/hostess or serving experience helps build a solid foundation for success in this energetic role Join us if you're passionate about hospitality, eager to grow your skills in a vibrant environment, and ready to deliver outstanding guest experiences every day!
