Job Summary
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following statements are intended as general examples of the duties of this position and are not all-inclusive for specific positions. Other reasonable duties may be assigned. 1. Responsible for acknowledging guests in a friendly and timely manner. 2. Responsible for method of payment for alcohol beverage service. 3. Responsible for taking orders from patrons, recommending food choices, and presenting food. 4. Assisting in clearing tables, transporting dirty dishes and linen by a bus cart. 5. Cleaning workstation and wait stand at end of shift. 6. Responsible for regular and punctual attendance for scheduled shifts. 7. Responsible for developing and maintaining positive guest relations, including but not limited to, resolving minor guest disputes and assist in ensuring the safety and security of all guests and employees. 8. Knowledge of all special events and promotional activities available to guest. 9. Other duties as assigned.
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS
The position is responsible to the Restaurant Supervisor for successful performance of assigned duties.

Ability to use all equipment associated with the position, including, but not limited to, the following: Coffee and tea maker Wait trays Calculator and credit card machine
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
The following list of physical attributes is intended to be an approximation of the demands expected to be placed on an employee filling this role. Physical demands include, but are not limited to, the following: Walking / standing - 85% Bending / Lifting - 15% (up to 35lbs. without assistance) Restaurant and Casino environment exposed to various temperatures, smoke, dust and fumes, bright lights, and excessive noise levels. May include boat and/or floating barge. High rise hotel and atrium. Use of stairs, elevators, and / or escalators. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
ESSENTIAL JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND COMPETENCIES
Ability to work shifts as scheduled. Ability to use tea and coffee machines. Ability to read and write simple instructions. Knowledge of Alcohol Beverage Control laws, health regulations, and personal protective equipment. Public relations skills
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND TRAINING
High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred One to three years' experience in food service preferred Completes all company-required training within designated time frames
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS
Ability to obtain and hold a Louisiana Responsible Vendor's card. Must be able to obtain and hold a Calcasieu Parish Bar card (leave if required) Must be able to obtain and hold a valid gaming license. (leave if required) Ability to obtain and hold any and all licenses, certifications, insurance coverage or any other indemnifications which may be required by the company for the successful completion of the duties associated with this position.
