Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, ensuring a positive first impression. Take food and beverage orders accurately using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems. Provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials and wine pairings. Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Deliver food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation. Monitor guest needs throughout their dining experience, ensuring timely refills and assistance as needed. Handle cash transactions efficiently, including processing payments and providing change. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests. Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery. Qualifications Previous experience in a restaurant or fine dining setting is preferred. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is advantageous. Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety regulations is essential. Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation is a plus.
