Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival, making them feel comfortable and appreciated from the first moment. Manage reservations efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring accurate seating arrangements. Escort guests to their tables, providing menus and answering initial questions about the menu or specials. Take food and beverage orders accurately, communicating clearly with kitchen staff and baristas to ensure timely delivery. Assist servers during busy periods by delivering food and beverages, supporting guest needs with attentive service. Maintain a clean and organized host stand and dining area, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere at all times. Handle guest inquiries over the phone with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette. Support guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and courteously to ensure a positive dining experience. Requirements Previous experience as a Host/Hostess or in food service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests. Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous. Excellent guest service skills, including patience, attentiveness, and a friendly demeanor. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to greeting guests and assisting staff. Previous experience in hotel or restaurant environments enhances your ability to deliver exceptional service.
