Upsell menu items and drink specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Process cash and credit card transactions efficiently while maintaining accuracy in sales records. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including bar tops, tables, and beverage stations. Ensure food safety protocols are followed during food handling, serving, and preparation processes. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address guest needs promptly. Requirements Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or high-volume settings. Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms; experience with OpenTable is a plus. Extensive cocktail experience along with spirits knowledge; familiarity with wine pairing is desirable. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse situations professionally. Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while multitasking between serving drinks, food, and processing transactions. Basic math skills for cash handling and sales transaction processing; attention to detail is essential. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Hospitality background with experience in beverage service, bussing tables, cashiering, and guest relations preferred.
