Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, highlighting specials and upselling opportunities Accurately take food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items, wine pairings, and special dietary needs to enhance guest satisfaction Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring a positive dining experience Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while maintaining accountability for all sales Assist with food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures in accordance with health regulations Requirements Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; OpenTable experience is advantageous Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Ability to upsell menu items confidently to increase sales opportunities Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and order calculations Experience in serving or host/hostess roles within the food industry is highly desirable Join us to be part of a lively team where your energy fuels memorable guest experiences!
