Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing excellent in-person customer service and guiding them through their experience. Support the serving team by bussing tables, clearing dishes, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the dining area. Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring correct entry and timely communication with kitchen staff. Handle cash transactions efficiently, balancing registers and providing accurate change. Maintain food safety standards by adhering to proper food handling, sanitation, and dishwashing procedures. Support catering events or banquet setups as needed, including meal preparation and setup assistance. Qualifications Previous experience in food service, restaurant environments, or hospitality is highly desirable. Strong communication skills with a friendly phone etiquette for taking orders or answering guest inquiries. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately. Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling techniques. Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred; familiarity with OpenTable is a plus. Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, cleaning, dishwashing, and light cooking or meal prep. Prior experience in roles such as host/hostess, catering assistant, or dietary aide enhances your fit for this position.
