DESCRIPTION POSITION SUMMARY

The Server is responsible for performing established Steps of Service to ensure that each resident and guest receives both gracious and efficient service. The Server may hold one of four different hats of responsibility, on different shifts as assigned by their supervisor, when on shift on different shifts as assigned by their supervisor: Busser, Food Runner, Serving Tables, or Dishwasher.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The following duties are normal for this position. Perform established Steps of Service to ensure that each resident and guest receives gracious and efficient service. Practice good time management skills to ensure efficient table turnover. Handles and serves food in accordance with all HAACP guidelines and sanitation standards. Operate cash register and point of sale software.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Some knowledge of table service and order taking - preferred High school diploma or GED - preferred
