Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to optimize flow and comfort Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff and servers Deliver food and beverages promptly from the kitchen to tables, maintaining proper food handling and safety standards Clear and clean tables efficiently after guests depart, resetting for new diners while adhering to sanitation protocols Buss tables by removing used dishes, silverware, and trash to uphold cleanliness standards throughout the dining area Support the kitchen team with meal preparation tasks when needed, including basic food prep or garnishing under supervision Assist with in-person customer service by answering guest questions, managing waitlists via OpenTable or similar systems, and providing a welcoming atmosphere Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, restrooms, and service stations through regular cleaning routines Handle guest inquiries politely via phone etiquette or in person, ensuring positive guest relations at all times Skills Previous experience as a host/hostess or in food service environments; banquet or catering experience is a plus Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with guests and team members Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; cash handling experience is advantageous Ability to perform basic math for order accuracy and billing purposes Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that enhances the dining experience Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift trays or boxes, and perform cleaning duties efficiently Experience with beverage preparation or barista skills can be beneficial but not required Join us if you're passionate about hospitality!
