Duties Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of food and beverage options. Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted clearly. Serve food and beverages efficiently, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks, demonstrating cocktail experience and beverage service expertise. Process sales transactions accurately while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods with precision. Upsell menu items such as premium spirits or specialty dishes to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards during service by bussing tables and assisting with food handling and preparation when needed. Foster guest relations through attentive service, addressing questions about menu items like wine knowledge or food safety practices to ensure satisfaction. Support team members during busy hours by managing time effectively and multitasking seamlessly in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, ideally with fine dining or nightclub backgrounds. Familiarity with POS systems including toast (if not familiar with toast will be easy to learn) Strong knowledge of beverage service including spirits, wine, cocktails, OpenTable reservations system, and upselling techniques. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining professionalism under pressure. Basic math skills for order calculations, change handling, and sales processing. Culinary experience or food industry background is highly desirable to enhance guest interactions.
