Overview We are seeking a friendly and welcoming Server Assistant/Host to join our team in providing exceptional guest services. As the first point of contact for our restaurant guests, you will play a vital role in creating a memorable experience for our visitors. Each shift has at least one host and one server assistant. When there are more than one SA on, one will primarily be the food runner. Host Duties Greet and welcome guests, providing a warm and inviting atmosphere. Create and manage wait list and reservations Seat guests at appropriate table Handle phone calls and inquiries with professional phone etiquette. Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest inquiries and addressing any concerns promptly. Server assistant duties Maintain a clean and organized dining area. Bus and reset tables. Assist servers with whatever they need. Fill water glasses, print checks, run food, etc. Assist Host with seating, answering phone, etc. Qualifications Experience in a restaurant is preferred but willing to train the right person Proven ability to communicate effectively and maintain a friendly demeanor. Familiarity with Square or other POS Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, remaining calm a under pressure. We are looking for someone to work 2-3 shifts a week with weekend availability a must . The schedule is flexible, shifts are 3-4 hours starting at 5pm.
