Job Description

Wait Staff - Server Come join us at Carmel Terrace as a Wait Staff/ Server ! A Faith-Based, Nonprofit, Short and Long-term care facility sponsored by the Carmelite Sisters. We are a place of life, a place of caring, and more importantly, a true home for our residents. Located on lush, manicured lawns and gardens in Framingham, MA, we are just minutes from Route 9 for easy access to the Mass Pike. We're seeking to fill the role of Wait Staff/ Server . No experience necessary. Will train!
Full-Time:
6am to 2pm; Monday - Friday plus Every Other Weekend. $17 per hour.
Wait Staff/ Server Qualifications:
High School diploma or the equivalent. Ability to work positively in a fast-paced environment. Must be dependable and reliable, flexible in work duties and willing to go above and beyond expectations. Prior experience in food services and preparation in Long Term Care, preferred.
Wait Staff/ Server Job Summary:
Communicate in a positive, caring, and helpful manner with residents, family members, and other staff. Work effectively within a team, receiving and offering direction and feedback as needed. Learn how to check for dietary changes, dismissals and transfers prior to tray-line service. Learn to assure accuracy of the resident's meal tray specifications. Understand and communicate knowledge of safety, sanitation and food handling. Ensure that infection control practices are always maintained and followed. Work other jobs within the Dietary Department as necessary. This is a brief overview of job responsibilities and not intended to be all inclusive.
