Support the kitchen team with basic food handling and preparation tasks as needed. Bussing tables involves removing used dishes, glassware, and utensils while ensuring proper cleaning procedures are followed. Maintain cleanliness in all service areas, including floors, counters, and dining spaces through regular cleaning routines. Help with heavy lifting tasks such as moving supplies or equipment while practicing safe lifting techniques. Provide exceptional in-person customer service by greeting guests warmly and responding promptly to their needs or questions. Operate POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing when required. Support food running duties by delivering dishes quickly and accurately from the kitchen to ensure guest satisfaction. Follow food safety standards during food handling and preparation to uphold health regulations. Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless service during busy periods or banquet events. Qualifications Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or banquet environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key! Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and moving supplies or equipment. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and guests. Knowledge of food safety practices and basic food handling procedures. Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Familiarity with restaurant operations, including bussing, serving, and food running duties. Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness through regular cleaning routines.
