Duties and Responsibilities:

Ensure quality guest service and comfort at all times by monitoring the area continuously. Have a comprehensive knowledge of all menu items, specials, beverages, wines, etc. Must know how to read and understand BEOs. Serve all items utilizing appropriate china, glassware, silverware, garnish, and condiments. Assist other servers and set up housepersons, if needed. Immediately relay all guest complaints and compliments to management. Maintain health and sanitation standards. Maintain safe serve regulations when serving alcoholic beverages. Assist in setting tables with linen and basic silver and glass maintaining high standard of presentation. Assist in breaking down events and cleaning rooms after functions.

Requirements:

Minimum lifting and pulling of 50 pounds. Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity. Standing for long periods of time. Understands the overall functions and procedures of Banquets and Catering. Must be flexible with schedule and adjust to business needs of the Hotel.
