Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest experiences by delivering outstanding service and ensuring customer satisfaction. Your ability to manage time effectively and maintain a positive attitude will contribute significantly to our restaurant's success. Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel valued and attended to. Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, utilizing the Aloha POS system. Provide detailed information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to assist guests in making informed choices. Ensure timely delivery of food and drinks to tables while maintaining proper food handling and safety standards. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely food preparation. Handle cash transactions accurately, processing payments and providing change as needed. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations, to create a welcoming environment. Assist with food preparation as needed during busy periods or special events. Qualifications Proven experience in food service or guest relations is preferred but not required. Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques is essential. Excellent communication skills with a focus on guest services and relationship building. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Familiarity with cash handling procedures is beneficial. A positive attitude and willingness to help others are key attributes for success in this role.
