Duties Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of dishes and drinks to enhance their experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery and proper processing of sales transactions Serve food and beverages efficiently, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic options, maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation Upsell menu items, specials, and beverages to maximize sales while tailoring recommendations to guest preferences Manage cash handling procedures accurately, including processing payments via POS systems like OpenTable or other platforms Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables promptly and adhering to food safety regulations Foster guest relations by providing attentive service, addressing concerns promptly, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons Qualifications Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms; experience with OpenTable is advantageous Demonstrated ability in beverage service including cocktails, spirits, wine knowledge, and drink presentation Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy shifts Solid understanding of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly attitude and guest-focused approach Ability to perform basic math accurately for sales transactions and cash handling tasks Experience with food preparation or culinary knowledge is beneficial but not required; a passion for the food industry is essential Join us in creating memorable dining experiences where energy meets excellence!
