Job Summary Join our dynamic team as an Expo/Food Runner, where you'll be the vital link between the kitchen and the dining experience! In this energetic role, you'll ensure that food is prepared, plated, and delivered promptly and accurately to guests, creating a seamless and enjoyable dining atmosphere. Responsibilities Safely handle and transport food items from the kitchen to dining areas, ensuring proper food handling and presentation standards are maintained Assist with food preparation tasks such as plating, garnishing, and portioning under the guidance of culinary staff Buss tables by clearing dishes, utensils, and glassware efficiently to maintain a clean dining environment Support kitchen staff with manual handling tasks including heavy lifting of trays, boxes, or supplies while practicing safe lifting techniques Ensure cleanliness by assisting with general cleaning duties in dining and service areas, including sanitizing surfaces and equipment Use POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders or assist with guest transactions when needed Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate timely food delivery and guest service requests Qualifications Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is highly preferred Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks involving kitchen equipment or supplies Strong communication skills to interact confidently with guests and team members Experience with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Familiarity with banquet service, catering setups, or hotel food operations is advantageous Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Join us as an Expo/Food Runner and be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering exceptional guest experiences!
