The role has a strong hospitality element, ensuring that the restaurant delivers high-quality food and great customer service. Essential Functions/Responsibilities of the Job Responsible for the morning Prep of food to be served during the day Responsible for Opening of restaurant 1-3 times per week We are also looking for individuals with a min of 3 days of availability per week from 4PM-9PM, to close nightly and Guest Service Responsible for Closing of restaurant 1-3 times per week General Requirements for all positions: Greets guest immediately with a warm welcoming greeting (eye contact, smile, and not the same to every person.) Provides new guest tour and tasting Provides guest with specific suggestions to create the ultimate poke bowl Visits guests and pre bus and deliver dole softserve® samples Provides a sincere farewell to each guest Demonstrates the ability to accurately describe all food and sauces (including ingredients) Committed to excellence and looks for ways to improve processes Uses time efficiently and works in an organized manner Provides proper portioning Displays positive outlook and pleasant manner Ability to accurately provide correct change to guests and operate POS system Requirements, Education, Skills and Experience Previous restaurant experience preferred including knife skills Excellent customer service skills Strong communication skills, tact and diplomacy Self-motivation and ambition Enthusiasm and the ability to learn quickly Good organizational skills Basic computer skills, input information Good time management skills Energy and stamina, as well as resilience Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment Ability to work under time constraints and deadlines Results-driven approach to work Decision-making and problem-solving skills Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to loud noise, moving mechanical parts, sharp knives and vibrations. It is important to be willing to work until the job is completed, whatever time that may be. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for long periods of time and repeat the same movements. The employee may walk for long periods and use their hands to handle, control or feel objects, tools and controls. They must be able to bend, twist , lift, push, pull or carry heavy items up to 50 pounds. It is important to speak clearly and understand the speech of others. It may be necessary to use one or two hands to grasp, move, or assemble objects as well as use fingers to grasp, move or assemble very small objects. The employee will be required to be physically active for long periods without getting tired.
