Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and take their food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as toast Understand the menu (cocktail and appetizers) to recommend items based on feedback Process cash and card transactions efficiently while maintaining accuracy in cash register operations and retail sales transactions. Assist in bar preparation, cleaning and organization tasks to ensure timely service, including handling kitchen equipment safely and maintaining food safety standards. Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales through friendly recommendations. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to sanitation and food safety protocols throughout your shift. Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring proper presentation and customer satisfaction. Manage customer orders with professionalism, addressing any questions or concerns to foster a positive dining experience. Requirements Previous food service experience, including quick service or fast-food restaurant roles, is highly preferred. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours. Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and follow food safety guidelines diligently. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude. Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing register operations. Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and restaurant safety standards is essential. Prior experience in retail sales transactions or café environments is a plus.
