Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a friendly, attentive, and professional Server to join our dynamic team in delivering exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, excellent customer relations skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role involves providing high-quality service in a fine dining or casual setting, ensuring guest satisfaction from order to completion. Prior restaurant experience and familiarity with POS systems are highly valued. Duties Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining presentation standards Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols are followed at all times Clear tables efficiently and assist with bussing as needed Handle cash transactions accurately and perform cashiering duties Maintain cleanliness of service areas and ensure adherence to sanitation standards Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders Provide guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring overall satisfaction Qualifications Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality industry preferred, especially fine dining or nightclub settings Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is a plus Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures Ability to work evenings, weekends, or nights as required by the establishment's schedule Experience in upselling and sales techniques to maximize revenue opportunities Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude Join our team to provide memorable dining experiences through exceptional service and professionalism.
