Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills and a passion for the food industry. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have an exceptional dining experience by providing attentive service, taking orders accurately, and assisting with any needs that may arise during their visit. Duties Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take food and beverage orders using POS systems, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Provide detailed menu information to guests, including daily specials and recommendations. Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns or requests. Assist with food handling and preparation as needed in collaboration with kitchen staff. Process cash handling transactions accurately, including payments and tips. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments. Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Qualifications Previous experience in a customer service role within the restaurant or food industry is preferred. Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous; experience with OpenTable is a plus. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of food handling practices to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as required by the establishment. A positive attitude with a willingness to help both guests and team members alike.
