Overview Join our dynamic team as an Expo/Food Runner and be a vital link in delivering an exceptional dining experience! In this energetic role, you'll act as the bridge between the kitchen and front-of-house, ensuring that food reaches guests promptly, accurately, and beautifully presented. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a lively, welcoming atmosphere where guests feel valued and cared for. Responsibilities Efficiently deliver prepared food from the kitchen to guest tables, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met. Assist with food preparation tasks such as plating, garnishing, and organizing dishes for service. Support servers by bussing tables, refilling water, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to relay special requests or dietary needs from guests. Ensure all food handling and safety protocols are followed to maintain high standards of hygiene. Operate POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for order accuracy and efficient service when needed. Collaborate with team members to uphold a lively, positive atmosphere that enhances guest satisfaction. Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred. Knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and proper sanitation practices. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Strong communication skills to coordinate seamlessly with kitchen staff and front-of-house team. Ability to stand for extended periods and move quickly in a high-energy setting. Experience with food preparation, bussing, or banquet service is advantageous.
