Duties Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and assisting with food handling and preparation when needed Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure food quality and presentation meet high standards Use reservation management tools like OpenTable to optimize seating arrangements and reduce wait times Demonstrate excellent guest relations skills, addressing concerns promptly to ensure a positive experience Qualifications Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or nightclub settings Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining a friendly demeanor Previous host/hostess or serving experience is highly desirable Basic math skills for cashiering and order accuracy; comfortable with cash handling procedures Knowledge of food industry terminology and customer service best practices Culinary or kitchen experience is a plus but not required; a passion for hospitality is essential Join us to be part of an energetic team dedicated to delivering exceptional service in a lively atmosphere!
