Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and digital payments with precision Upsell menu items, beverages, and specials to maximize sales and enhance guest satisfaction Serve food and drinks promptly, including cocktail and spirits service, ensuring proper presentation and safety standards Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations, including food handling and kitchen support when needed Assist with bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and supporting host/hostess duties to ensure smooth operations during busy hours Requirements Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly preferred Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables and transactions efficiently during peak hours Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing sales transactions Food safety certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work flexible hours including nights and weekends Join us if you're passionate about delivering outstanding guest experiences in a lively environment!
