Duties Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery Upsell menu items including cocktails, wines, spirits, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales Serve food and beverages efficiently, maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness in accordance with food safety regulations Process cash and credit card transactions accurately while managing cash handling responsibilities Maintain knowledge of wine pairings, cocktail recipes, and food industry trends to inform guest recommendations Assist with bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and supporting kitchen staff as needed to ensure seamless service flow Qualifications Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightclub settings Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor and excellent guest relations abilities Knowledge of beverage service including spirits, wine, cocktails, and drink presentation techniques Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail Basic math skills for processing sales transactions and handling cash accurately Food safety certification and understanding of sanitation standards required; culinary or kitchen experience is advantageous Previous experience in serving, bartending, or host/hostess roles preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential Join us if you're passionate about creating lively atmospheres where guests feel valued and delighted!
