As a Server, you are the heart of our restaurant's exceptional guest experience! As a vital link between the kitchen and the dining room, you will deliver outstanding service, showcase your culinary and beverage knowledge, and create memorable moments for our guests. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in food and beverage service while working in a vibrant culinary environment. Duties Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide detailed descriptions of food and beverage options to enhance their dining experience Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely processing of sales transactions Serve food and beverages efficiently, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks, demonstrating knowledge of drink service standards Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining genuine guest engagement Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments through POS systems like OpenTable or other platforms, and give correct change Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols Assist with food preparation or kitchen support as needed to ensure smooth operations during busy service hours Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or casual settings Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms Demonstrated ability in beverage service including spirits, wine knowledge, cocktail creation, and drink presentation Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor and guest relations focus Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Culinary experience or kitchen support background is a plus but not required; a passion for hospitality is essential Join us to deliver exceptional service in a lively environment where your enthusiasm makes every guest feel special!
