Job Description
Food Server Alden Camps - Oakland, Maine Position Summary Alden Camps is seeking friendly, energetic, and professional Food Servers to join our hospitality team for the season. As a Food Server, you will play an essential role in creating an exceptional dining experience for our guests by providing attentive service, maintaining a welcoming atmosphere, and ensuring every meal reflects the high standards of Alden Camps. Our dining room is the heart of the guest experience, serving breakfast and dinner to families and visitors enjoying a traditional Maine lakeside vacation. We are looking for team members who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and take pride in delivering genuine hospitality. Responsibilities Welcome guests with a warm, friendly, and professional attitude. Set up and prepare the dining room before each meal service. Serve food and beverages promptly and accurately. Explain daily menu offerings and answer guest questions. Monitor tables and anticipate guest needs throughout the meal. Clear, clean, and reset tables efficiently. Assist with beverage service, dessert service, and special events. Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the dining room and service areas. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations. Work closely with kitchen staff and fellow team members to ensure smooth service. Help with opening, closing, and side work duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous restaurant or hospitality experience required. Positive attitude with excellent customer service skills. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Dependable, punctual, and professional in appearance. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds. Must be available to work weekends, evenings, and holidays during the seasonal operating period.
