Duties:

Greet and seat customers in a friendly and professional manner Present the menu and wine list to customers, making recommendations based on customer preferences and dietary restrictions Take customer orders accurately and communicate them to the kitchen Serve food and drinks to customers in a timely and professional manner Check in with customers throughout the meal to ensure satisfaction and offer assistance as needed Handle payment at the end of the meal, including processing credit card transactions and handling cash and tips Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the dining room, including setting tables, cleaning up spills, and replacing silverware and other supplies as needed Provide excellent customer service and handle any issues that may arise in a timely and professional manner

Qualifications:

2-3 years of experience as a server in a high-volume restaurant Excellent customer service skills and the ability to interact with customers in a friendly, professional, and respectful manner Knowledge of food and wine, including the ability to make recommendations based on customer preferences and dietary restrictions Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately and consistently Familiarity with TOAST or POS systems for order processing and payment handling Physical stamina and the ability to stand for long periods of time and lift and carry heavy objects as needed Professional appearance, including the ability to adhere to a dress code
