Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and personable Server / Host to join our Embassy Suites team. In this role, you will be the welcoming face of our restaurant, helping create an outstanding dining experience from the moment guests arrive. Your enthusiasm, attention to detail, and commitment to excellent customer service will help create a warm and welcoming atmosphere that encourages guest satisfaction and repeat visits. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide a friendly welcome upon arrival Assist with reservations, seating, and providing accurate wait-time estimates Escort guests to their tables and provide menus Answer guest questions and provide information about menu items, specials, and beverages Take accurate food and beverage orders and provide recommendations when appropriate Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining a high level of presentation and service Process guest payments accurately and efficiently using the restaurant's point-of-sale system Assist with bussing tables and resetting dining areas during busy periods Maintain clean, organized, and welcoming dining and guest areas Work closely with other servers, hosts, kitchen staff, and bar staff to provide efficient service Address guest questions, concerns, or complaints in a professional and positive manner Provide friendly, attentive, and professional service throughout the guest's visit Support the restaurant team with additional duties as needed Experience & Qualifications Previous experience as a Host/Hostess or Server in a restaurant or hospitality setting preferred Strong customer service and communication skills Friendly, energetic, and personable attitude Ability to remain positive and professional in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail, cleanliness, and organization Ability to multitask and effectively manage time during busy periods Basic math skills and the ability to accurately process guest transactions Previous experience with a POS or reservation system is a plus, but not required Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices preferred Beverage, cocktail, or wine knowledge is a plus Ability to work effectively as part of a team Reliable, responsible, and trustworthy High school diploma or equivalent is a plus, but not required Join our team and be part of a welcoming hospitality environment where your energy, personality, and dedication to great service can make a difference.
