Overview Join our hospitality team as a Food Server, where your energy and passion for exceptional guest experiences will shine. In this role, you will deliver outstanding service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring every guest feels welcomed and valued. This paid position offers an opportunity to grow within the food industry while showcasing your talents in a lively, family-fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm to create a welcoming atmosphere Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS Serve food, cocktails, wine, spirits, and other beverages efficiently while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards Upsell menu items and suggest wine pairings or specialty drinks to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales Process sales transactions accurately, handle cash and credit card payments, and manage cashiering duties with integrity Maintain the cleanliness of tables, bussing as needed to ensure a tidy dining environment Assist with food preparation or kitchen support during busy periods when necessary Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing inquiries promptly and ensuring all guests have a positive dining experience Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or hospitality settings Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for reservations management Excellent customer service skills with the ability to upsell and recommend menu items confidently Familiarity with food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking seamlessly Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and handling cash or credit payments Experience with wine knowledge, cocktail mixing, spirits expertise, and food industry standards is highly desirable Strong communication skills coupled with a friendly attitude to foster guest relations and team collaboration Embark on a rewarding journey in the food industry where your enthusiasm makes every guest's experience extraordinary.
