Responsibilities Clear and clean tables promptly to maintain a tidy and inviting dining area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards. Assist servers by delivering food orders quickly and accurately from the kitchen to guests' tables, ensuring proper handling and presentation. Support kitchen staff with basic food handling and preparation tasks as needed, following safe lifting practices during heavy lifting or manual handling. Buss tables efficiently by removing used dishes, glassware, and utensils while maintaining a friendly, guest-focused attitude. Help with in-person customer service by greeting guests, answering questions about menu items, and providing a welcoming atmosphere. Maintain cleanliness of service stations, dining areas, and restrooms through routine cleaning tasks. Use POS systems such as Micros POS or similar to process orders or assist with guest transactions when required. Qualifications Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and safe lifting practices. Knowledge of food safety standards, food running procedures, and basic food preparation is a plus. Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar is advantageous.
