Andiamo in Bloomfield is looking for an outgoing and dependable server to join our team. We are looking for an individual who can provide exceptional service and a friendly attitude to our guests. You will be responsible for presenting food items and drink selections to customers, answering any questions they may have about the menu items, and helping them make decisions on ordering. As well as, suggesting additional items that can be paired with entrees based on ingredients or flavor profiles. Requirements:

• Exceptional customer service
• Assist guests; meet and exceed guest's expectations and requests; anticipate guest's needs
• Full knowledge of menu/bar/wine
• Describe items on the menu including ingredients used along with how it is prepared, cooked and, served
• Clearly explain chef specials and answer questions
• The ability to suggestively sell and recommend wine pairings
• The ability to suggestively up-sell according to the guests' interest
• Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
• Anticipate guests needs
• Communicate with guests to ensure satisfaction and resolve complaints
• Provide guests with happy hour specials, and upcoming promotions
• Provide checks and collect payment from guests
• Enforce rules and regulations regarding alcohol consumption/purchase
• Arrives on time for all shifts, pre-shifts, ready to receive assigned tasks, review menu and event specifics
• Uphold the integrity of the Joe Vicari Restaurant Group by demonstrating ethical behaviors
• Maintain composed, professional, and calm attitude at all times
• Complete all side-work as directed
• Assist in an entire team effort
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Must be able to balance and carry heavy trays of food
• Must have a teamwork first attitude
• Must have excellent attendance and punctuality Additional Requirements Fine Dining experience is preferred.
