Job Description
Server Tabor Hill Winery & Restaurant Buchanan, MI Position Overview Tabor Hill Winery & Restaurant is seeking polished, hospitality-driven Servers to join our front-of-house team. As a Server, you will play a key role in delivering an elevated guest experience in a casual, welcoming winery setting. This position is ideal for someone who is professional, personable, detail-oriented, and passionate about food, wine, and hospitality. Our service style is warm, knowledgeable, and attentive, with a focus on creating memorable experiences for every guest. Key Responsibilities Greet guests with warmth, professionalism, and genuine hospitality. Guide guests through the menu, including food, wine, cocktail, and beverage selections. Provide knowledgeable recommendations and answer questions about ingredients, preparation, wine pairings, and specials. Accurately take orders and enter them into the POS system. Deliver food and beverages efficiently while maintaining proper steps of service. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience and respond promptly to needs or concerns. Maintain clean, organized, and properly set tables and service stations. Work closely with hosts, bussers, food runners, bartenders, culinary staff, and management to ensure smooth service. Handle payments accurately and professionally. Follow all alcohol service, food safety, and sanitation standards. Represent Tabor Hill with professionalism, hospitality, and pride. Qualifications Previous serving experience preferred, especially in upscale casual, fine dining, winery, or high-volume restaurant environments. Strong communication and guest service skills. Ability to remain calm, professional, and efficient in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable learning and speaking about wine, food, cocktails, and beverage pairings. Must be dependable, punctual, and team-oriented. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds as needed. Must meet all legal requirements for alcohol service. Weekend, evening, and holiday availability required. Must be 18+ Preferred Qualifications Wine, beverage, or hospitality knowledge strongly preferred. Experience with Toast POS or similar systems is a plus. A passion for elevated food, wine, and guest experiences. What We Offer A beautiful winery and restaurant environment.
