Full-Time / Part-Time Job Summary Modern Greek Eatery & Bar is hiring friendly, energetic, and dependable Front of House (FOH) Staff for our East Lansing location. FOH team members are responsible for creating a welcoming guest experience while assisting with serving, hosting, food running, bussing, takeout orders, and general restaurant operations . We are looking for outgoing team players who can thrive in a busy restaurant and bar environment. Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not required—we will train motivated candidates. Responsibilities Greet guests and provide friendly, attentive customer service Take and enter food and beverage orders accurately using the POS system Serve food and non-alcoholic beverages promptly and professionally Run food from the kitchen to guests and verify order accuracy Assist with hosting, seating, takeout, and pickup orders Bus, clean, sanitize, and reset tables Maintain clean and organized dining, service, and guest areas Restock silverware, napkins, glassware, condiments, and service stations Communicate effectively with kitchen, bar, and management teams Handle guest questions and concerns professionally Assist with opening and closing duties Follow restaurant policies, food safety procedures, and alcohol-service requirements Support other team members during busy periods Qualifications Restaurant, serving, hosting, or customer-service experience preferred but not required Friendly, outgoing, and professional attitude Strong communication and teamwork skills Reliable and punctual Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Ability to stand and remain active for extended periods Evening and weekend availability preferred Availability during MSU football games, game days, and major campus events is a plus Must meet applicable age requirements for any alcohol-related duties Why Join Modern Greek?
