Duties Assist servers by bussing tables promptly, clearing dishes, and resetting tables to maintain a clean and inviting dining area Support food running tasks by delivering orders accurately and efficiently from the kitchen to guests' tables Maintain cleanliness across all areas, including dining spaces, service stations, and kitchen zones, adhering to food safety standards Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies, dishes, and equipment using safe lifting practices Support food preparation and handling in accordance with food safety regulations to ensure quality and hygiene standards are met Provide in-person customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and ensuring guest needs are met promptly Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems like Micros POS confidently for order processing and billing while maintaining accurate transaction records Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow and address guest requests efficiently Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential Strong communication skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and team members Knowledge of food handling procedures, food safety standards, and basic food preparation techniques Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely and efficiently Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is advantageous Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism A genuine passion for providing excellent guest services in a hospitality environment This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their skills in the restaurant industry while delivering outstanding guest experiences.
