Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate Wine Specialist & BOH Operations Support. You will not only serve exceptional food and wine, but also cultivate a welcoming atmosphere where every guest feels valued and engaged. Your goal? To ensure that every visit becomes a cherished experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Engagement & Service:
Provide attentive, knowledgeable service, assisting guests in selecting food and wine that complement their preferences.
Wine & Food Service:
Serve food and wine efficiently and compliantly, ensuring proper presentation, portioning, and quality standards.
Order Taking & Accuracy:
Greet guests warmly, take orders accurately, and ensure special requests or dietary needs are properly communicated and accommodated.
Table Management:
Set-up, clear, and reset tables to maintain a clean and inviting environment.
Hospitality & Experience Enhancement:
Foster a welcoming ambiance, ensuring guests feel appreciated and satisfied throughout their visit.
Knowledge Development:
Maintain an understanding of wine varietals, pairings, and menu offerings, providing insightful recommendations.
Operational Support:
Assist in daily tasks, including set-up, cleaning, restocking, and other duties as assigned by management.
Payment Processing:
Handle transactions efficiently, ensuring accuracy in billing and compliance with payment procedures.
Health & Safety Compliance:
Follow hygiene and safety protocols, maintaining cleanliness and ensuring proper food handling practices. Supported back‑of‑house operations : by preparing food items, assembling components for service, maintaining organized workstations, and upholding strict cleanliness and sanitation standards to ensure a safe, efficient, and compliant environment.
Collaboration & Communication:
Work closely with team members to ensure seamless service and an outstanding guest experience.
Minimum Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. - 1+ years bartending experience with an emphasis on wine
- 1+ years wine experience; formal training preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Passion for hospitality, food, and wine.
- Positive attitude, strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong adherence to attendance and reliability.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to service excellence.
- Fluent in English.
- Eligible to work in the United States.
- Ability to stand for up to 10 hours and lift 50 pounds
- Ability to consistently work evenings, weekends, and some holidays Certifications/Training required:

Food Handling Preferred Qualifications:
