Duties Greet guests warmly and assist them with seating arrangements, providing a welcoming first impression Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality Process sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling, credit card payments, and upselling of menu items like wines, spirits, or specialty cocktails Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items, including wine pairings and cocktail options to enhance guest experience Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any guest concerns promptly Qualifications Previous food service experience in restaurants or hospitality environments is preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order processing and sales transactions Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude and the ability to handle multiple tables efficiently Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Ability to upsell menu items confidently to increase sales and enhance guest satisfaction Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing tabs effectively Experience with beverage service including spirits, wine knowledge, cocktail preparation, and drink presentation is highly desirable Bartending skills a plus Join us as a Restaurant Server where your passion for hospitality will shine!
