In this vital role, you will act as the communication hub between the kitchen and front-of-house staff, ensuring that food is prepared, plated, and delivered with precision and timeliness. Duties Coordinate between kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely delivery of food orders, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality Verify that all dishes leaving the kitchen meet safety, sanitation, and food handling standards Assist in organizing and expediting food during busy service periods to optimize workflow and guest satisfaction Communicate effectively with kitchen staff about order modifications, special requests, or timing issues Support food preparation tasks when necessary, including plating, garnishing, and portioning to uphold presentation standards Maintain cleanliness and organization of the expediting station to promote efficiency and safety Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow and exceptional guest experiences Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred Familiarity with kitchen operations, food preparation, and serving techniques enhances performance in this role Experience with banquet service or large-scale catering is a plus Strong communication skills are essential for coordinating effectively with kitchen staff and servers Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling procedures is required Hospitality or hotel experience can be advantageous for understanding guest expectations Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting is important Join us as a Server Food Expeditor and be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering exceptional dining experiences.
