The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of food safety and handling practices. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests by delivering high-quality service and ensuring their needs are met throughout their visit. Duties Greet and seat guests promptly, providing them with menus with a positive attitude. Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system, ensuring all requests are communicated effectively to the kitchen staff. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments through cash registers and maintaining proper cash handling procedures. Ensure compliance with food safety standards by following proper food handling practices at all times. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages while addressing any guest concerns or special requests promptly. Uphold the standards of hospitality by creating a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. Qualifications Previous experience as a Server in a casual dining restaurant is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Familiarity with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling is essential. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members.
