Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements, ensuring a smooth flow of service. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, processing transactions efficiently while upselling menu items like cocktails, wines, or specialty drinks. Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation. Provide expert recommendations on menu items, including wine pairings and spirits, to enhance the guest experience. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols. Manage cash handling accurately, processing payments securely through POS systems like OpenTable or other platforms. Engage with guests to foster positive relationships, handle special requests professionally, and resolve any concerns promptly to ensure guest satisfaction. Qualifications Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus. Strong knowledge of POS systems, Micros POS; familiarity with OpenTable is advantageous. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests. Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items including spirits, wine, cocktails, and specialty beverages. Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and managing cash handling duties. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Culinary experience or beverage expertise (including cocktail experience) is highly desirable. Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail. Hospitality background with experience in serving guests in a fast-paced setting; nightclub or food industry experience preferred.
