Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. Your primary responsibilities will include taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout their visit. If you have a passion for the culinary arts and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you! Responsibilities Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner. Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Aloha POS or OpenTable systems. Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring that all items are presented beautifully. Handle cash transactions efficiently, including cash handling and operating the cash register. Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to assist guests with inquiries. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and service. Uphold food safety standards by following proper food handling procedures. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations. Address guest concerns or complaints with professionalism and courtesy to enhance their dining experience. Qualifications Previous experience as a Server or in a similar role is preferred but not required. Familiarity with Aloha POS or OpenTable systems is a plus. Strong cash handling skills with basic math proficiency for accurate transaction processing. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment. Knowledge of food handling practices and culinary terminology is beneficial. Ability to multitask effectively in a busy setting while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude and willingness to help both guests and team members are essential for success in this role.
