Your role is vital in delivering a seamless food and beverage experience, whether it's taking orders, serving dishes, or assisting with guest needs. Duties Greet guests warmly and seat them promptly, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS. Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining presentation standards. Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests. Use reservation systems like OpenTable to manage bookings and optimize seating arrangements. Assist with food preparation or kitchen support during busy periods if needed. Provide knowledgeable recommendations about menu items, including fine dining options. Ensure food safety and proper food handling practices are followed at all times. Foster positive guest relations through attentive service and prompt problem resolution. Requirements Previous experience in food service or hospitality is highly desirable; experience with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Strong customer service skills with an energetic, approachable attitude. Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts in fast-paced environments like nightclubs or fine dining restaurants. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques. Experience with upselling techniques and sales skills to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue. Basic math skills for cashiering, cash handling, and order accuracy. Familiarity with reservation platforms like OpenTable is advantageous. Culinary or kitchen experience can be beneficial but not mandatory; a willingness to learn is key. Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and engage with guests professionally.
