Key Responsibilities:

Guest Service:

Provide attentive and friendly service to guests, greeting them warmly, and assisting with menu selection. Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special requests and dietary restrictions are noted. Deliver orders promptly and accurately, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor throughout the dining experience. 2.

Menu Knowledge:

Familiarize yourself with our menu offerings, including ingredients, preparation methods, and special promotions. Be prepared to answer guest inquiries, make recommendations, and provide information about allergens or dietary options. Stay updated on any menu changes or specials. 3.

Order Accuracy and Timeliness:

Enter orders accurately into the point-of-sale system, ensuring all modifications and special requests are properly communicated to the kitchen. Coordinate with other staff members to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to the correct tables. Monitor tables and promptly address any guest needs or requests. 4.

Upselling and Add-Ons:

Enhance the guest experience by suggesting add-ons, specialty beverages, or desserts that complement their meal. Demonstrate knowledge of our beverage offerings and confidently recommend pairings or alternatives to suit individual preferences. 5.

Payment Processing:

Handle guest payments accurately and efficiently, following proper cash handling procedures. Process credit card transactions and reconcile checks. Ensure guests receive their checks in a timely manner and address any payment-related inquiries or issues. 6.

Table Maintenance:

Maintain clean and organized tables throughout service, clearing plates and utensils promptly, and resetting tables for new guests. Monitor and refill condiments, napkins, and other table supplies as needed. Collaborate with support staff to ensure the cleanliness and readiness of the dining area. 7.

Team Collaboration:

Foster a positive and collaborative work environment by communicating effectively with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other servers. Support and assist colleagues when necessary, contributing to the overall efficiency and success of the restaurant.

Qualifications:

Prior experience as a Server or in a similar role in a restaurant setting is preferred. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor. Strong knowledge of food and beverage offerings, including menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail to ensure accurate order taking and delivery. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests and colleagues. Problem-solving abilities to address guest concerns or issues promptly and professionally. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
