Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service and have experience in the food industry. As a Server, you will be responsible for ensuring an outstanding dining experience for our guests by delivering high-quality service, taking orders accurately, and effectively communicating with both guests and kitchen staff. Responsibilities Greet and seat guests promptly with a warm and friendly demeanor. Present menus, provide recommendations, and answer any questions regarding food and beverage offerings. Take accurate orders using the Aloha POS or Micros POS systems. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining attention to detail. Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns promptly. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables as needed. Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service and communication. Handle cash transactions accurately, including basic math calculations for payments. Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant settings, preferably in fine dining or nightclub environments. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is highly desirable. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy shifts. Ability to upsell menu items effectively through strong sales techniques. Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations. Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing. Culinary experience or kitchen experience is a plus but not required.
